We crossed 87 home EV charger installs across the Greater Austin area in early March. It’s an odd number to lead with — we know. We could round up. We won’t.

Specific numbers read as honest, and 87 is what we’ve actually done. Every one of them came through our flat-rate home EV charger installation in Austin service. Spring is when install demand spikes

There’s a clear pattern in our booking calendar: late winter and spring are when EV purchases pick up, and the install demand follows two to four weeks later. The 2026 spring window is no different. We’re already seeing booking inquiries climb quickly. Same-week install slots are still available, but the lead time is getting longer week over week.

A few practical things that help if you want a spring slot:

• Have your charger picked. Or ask us during the quote — we’re charger-agnostic and will recommend based on your car and budget.
• Know roughly where you want it mounted. A photo of the garage wall and your panel speeds the quote up significantly.
• Confirm any panel concerns. “My panel is full” or “we’re only on 150A service” is not a blocker — our Group Power Management service usually handles it without a panel upgrade.

Honest counts vs marketing counts

A short note on why we share an oddly specific install count instead of “hundreds of installs”:

EV forums are full of stories about installers whose “track record” turns out to be padded. We’d rather show real numbers and let the work speak. 87 installs is enough to have seen most of what Austin homes throw at us — tight panels, long conduit runs, attached garages, detached garages, multi-EV households, the works — without being something we made up.
